| Do
You Use Real Lobster In Your Maine Lobster Spread? |
|
|
| Can
You Cook With It? |
Absolutely!
It’s
delicious in cooking. Use it to stuff tilapia or salmon,
an omelette, quiche, stuffed green peppers, mushrooms,
tomatoes,
and/or Alfredo sauce over pasta; Check out the recipes section
of our Website for cooking ideas and serving suggestions.
|
|
| Can
This Spread Be Frozen? |
No,
because it is made with mayonnaise. The mayonnaise will
separate and you
will have an orange oil in the spread. The spread's expiration
date is 4-6 weeks from the time it is packaged at the factory
and perfectly fresh until that date. |
|
| How
Can The Spread Have Such A Long Shelf Life? It's Seafood! |
We use
lemon juice and potassium sorbate in combination with the
mayonnaise to extend the refrigerated shelf life. |
|
| How
Can You Tell When It's Expired? |
Each
container is stamped with a date. The lobster spread is
good until that
date, even if you break the seal. You can snack on it and/or
cook with it safely until the expiration date. However, realistically
once you open and taste it, it won’t last that long!
